Dr. Boettger (pronounced bet-ger) is Board Certified in Pediatrics.  He earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BS Biology) and Abilene Christian University (MS Developmental Biology).  He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and moved to Salt Lake City to study Pediatrics at Primary Children's Medical Center where he completed his internship and residency training.  Dr. Boettger has been in full-time practice since 1986.  In addition to caring for infants and young children, Dr. Boettger enjoys adolescent medicine, and a full variety of problems relating to learning, development and behavior.  He sees newborns at Alta View Hospiital in Sandy, and also at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.  He also has privileges at Primary Children's Medical Center and the University of Utah Medical Center.  Dr. Boettger has been in
practice as a primary care Pediatrician at his current address in Sandy, Utah adjacent to Alta View Hospital since 2001.

Prior to his medical career, Dr. Boettger was a C-130 pilot in
the USAF.  He enjoys woodworking and photography as hobbies, as well as  outdoor recreation activities with his family. He is married to Jill, a pediatric speech pathologist with
the State Health Department.  They have two boys; Robbie
is a University of Utah graduate and now a chemical engineer 
living in Texas, and Mikey who is a college freshman who 
enjoys sports and other typical boy stuff in addition to
cooking and his new puppy Bronx.
